Abstract

Over the past few years, tremendous advances have been made in healthcare systems to eradicate the need of visiting a doctor for common diseases such as cold, nausea, stomach pain and many more. The primary focus of our work is to develop an application which can allow patients to enter their symptoms into our user interface and our application will provide the user with top five diseases that might arise due to the entered symptoms. Further, the user can access three different kinds of treatments namely ayurvedic, homeopathic and natural home remedies along with other symptoms that might occur due to the chosen disease. The main goal of creating this application is to save the time in visiting a doctor for diseases that do not require immediate medical attention and can easily be treated at home, hence making this process cost effective. Also, our application allows the user to choose his/her treatment according to their symptoms. For the development of this application, we have used Python language combined with MySQL for storage of data. Therefore, our application is not only highly protected but also eliminates the need for search engines which provide multiple solutions to a problem leaving the user confused. Given time this application can be further developed to serve a bigger purpose.
