Abstract

This brief article presents a more practical aspect, without neglecting academic rigor, on the current relevance of Competition Law and Policy to promote inclusive growth by ensuring equity through competition reforms from a Brazilian perspective. It initiates with a brief history of the last decades of Brazilian economy that has begun with the Federal Constitution of 1988, then the challenges to the competitiveness of Brazil, and to conclude, implementing competitiveness to Brazil. Despite the Brazilian perspective, the thoughts and examples developed on the present brief article can be useful for other Countries, especially the developing economies.
