Abstract

Suspension is the main system of the vehicle. It’s function is to isolate the driver from road shocks. Secondary function includes load transfer, lateral stability and providing adequate wheel travel ensuring ergonomics and driver comforts. By using the CREO software wishbone arm is prepared and analysis is done. The forces are applied on the basis of vehicle weight and the forces acting on the suspension system while vehicle is moving. The selection of material is done on the basis of result of analysis. To get the best result the geometry of Double Wishbone Suspension System is done precisely.
