Abstract

In 2012, U-M law school associate dean Bridget McCormack received a Distinguished Brief Award from the Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School law review. The next year she became a member of the Michigan Supreme Court, and in 2019 was selected as the court's Chief Justice. She offers advice to advocates appearing before her court, including an explanation of why "we do not care who wins."
