Gujarat depends predominantly on ground water for irrigation purpose. The drip irrigation can help in saving the water. The objective of this study was to know the perception of the farmers towards usage of drip irrigation. 200 farmers from 5 different villages of Anand District were personally contacted for questionnaire survey. The reasons for drip irrigation usage were higher productivity, high quality, lower cost of water and labour cost.
