This research work is orientated about the utilization of tail race water of a hydraulic dam in penstock using the combination of siphon tube and a centrifugal pump of 1 hp trough this system the capacity of plant is increased up to 0.6kw. This system is mainly design for that area where discharge is variable and to fulfill this demand we can implement the system and can get a constant power. Renewable energy is one of the futuristic energy recourse, water is made to flow through a siphon and the top of the siphon the pressure is sub-atmospheric.
