Abstract

This paper is a condensed technical summary of a similarly titled book by the same author developing a new approach to answer the question: Is Trump a Liar? Or is it Fake News?

If an extraordinary statement polarizes society for a prolonged period of time, the first question that must be asked: is this statement true, or is it a product of propaganda and media manipulation? M-Theory develops the Little Red Riding Hood Test and, similarly to Statistical Decision Making in Hypothesis Testing, defines the Null Hypothesis as “This extraordinary statement is true” and designs a Rejection Region consisting of a combination of events that should be rare under the Null. If these events are observed, the Null is rejected.
