Abstract

“RED TACTON” is a new technology of transferring data. It is a different technical approach as it does not use electromagnetic waves or infrared technology to transfer data. So what does it use? It uses surface of Human Body or any conducting substance like conductors and dielectrics to transfer data using the weak electric field of the body. It is more secure way of communication than Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as it works on the Principle of Point-to-Point network and require a physical connection to transmit data .With the help of this technology the communication can be done by just a touch or by one step. Our proposed methods are using Biosensors at the receiving device and implementing an Applet at the time of sending or receiving the message for more secure communication. It is currently in testing and developing stage in NTT lab JAPAN. In this paper we are analysing the working principles Functional potential and different applications of “RED TACTON” as a “Human Area Network”.
