Abstract

This scholarly blog post considers the use of Indigenous languages in parliamentary debate in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa. It is suggested that Australia's current mechanisms for parliamentary debate in Indigenous languages are insufficient. Proposals are made for facilitating future parliamentary debate in Indigenous languages.
