Study on the Relationship between Fine Particulate Pollution and Industrial Distribution in Jinan

This paper analyzed the tendency towards fine particulate pollution in Jinan in the perspective of time and space, with the conclusion of particulate pollution falling and increasing which was not stable. The pollution in the north was worse than the south. As collected materials showed, the influencing facts included discharge from cars, raised dust from construction sites, pollution emission from factories and coal combustion for warmth in winter etc. The study used the ways of checking information books and consulting literatures, to learn the economic development trend, business structure changes and energy construction of Jinan. The results showed that, the industry mainly relied on coal and raw petroleum, and the gross industrial energy showed increasing tendency; among the key ten industries, there were six atmospheric heavy pollution industries, included electric steam hot water production and supply industry, black metal smelting and rolling processing industry, oil processing and coke and nuclear fuel processing industry, nonmetallic mineral products and chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing. As the economy develops, layout of land use for manufacture was expanding, and what’s bad, it was surrounding the center part of the city together with the mountains on the south, which lead immediately to particulate pollution in bad weather. In the last part of this article, the measures in Jinan’s air pollution treatment fall behind some Chinese advanced cities; and some relevant governance recommendations were putting forward.
