IOT Based Real Time Monitoring and Control System for Smart Farming

Abstract

Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy deserves protection. Protection not in terms of resources only but also every stage of cultivation needs security at very initial stage. By considering these challenges, an IoT based system is designed which is capable of brainstorming the sensed information and then hand over it to the user. This device can be managed from remote location and improves security. The paper aims at making agriculture smart and secured using IoT technologies. Which includes; temperature maintenance, humidity maintenance and pesticide detection in the system. Controlling of all these functions through a remote smart device over Internet by interfacing sensors with micro-controller and raspberry pi.
