Abstract

This study aims to: (1) the effect of learning motivation to the interest to continue their studies to university; (2) the effect of peer environment to interest to continue their studies to university; (3) determine the socioeconomic status of the students' motivation; and (4) the effect of learning motivation, peer environment and socio-economic status of the interest to continue their studies to university. The population in this study were all high school students and vocational school. To answer the hypothesis in this study using multiple regression with F test and t test. It can be concluded that: (1) there is no effect of learning motivation to the interest to continue their studies to university; (2) there is the effect of peer environment to interest to continue their studies to university; (3) there is no influence of socioeconomic status interest to continue their studies to university; and (4) there is influence learning motivation, peer environment, and socioeconomic status on the interest to continue their studies to university.
