Abstract

Eviction is a common occurrence that affects millions of people worldwide. This paper examines and analyzes the topic in a general manner by posing a broad research question: What are, if any, common trends in regards to eviction research globally? This question aims to determine if researchers examine or analyze the same issue(s) globally, or if there are different, more important concerns depending on where, or by whom, research is conducted. To do so, we decided to examine studies from all disciplines along with semi-legal research, and doctrinal legal research.

Keywords: eviction, housing law, right to housing, literature review
