Abstract
Recent advance in computer science make it possible to develop technology to facilitate the delivery of regulatory requirements. This is referred to as ‘regulatory technology’ or ‘RegTech’. Financial regulation is an area where the use of RegTech is currently actively investigated by both regulated entities and regulators. This contribution will identify eight policy recommendations that should underpin the development of RegTech.
