Abstract

Indonesian Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Pakuan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelusuran literatur terhadap beberapa dokumen terkait dan berhubungan erat dengan yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara implisit terdapat hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Pakuan. Gaya kepemimpinan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, karena PDAM Tirta Pakuan menggunakan gabungan pola kepemimpinan bergaya struktur dan berbasis pertimbangan secara bersamaan dalam implementasi tugas pokok dan fungsinya masing-masing. Gaya kepemimpinan dan kinerja karyawan dapat berperan dalam meningkatkan performa PDAM Tirta Pakuan sehingga dapat mewujudkan visi dan misinya serta menjalankan tugas pokok dan fungsinya sebagai perusahaan daerah.

English Abstract: Leadership is an embryo of success to reach the objective of organization. Leader whom beloved by the followers relatively tend to encourage the follower’s motivation to success and to reach their organization’s vision based their best performances. The leadership education is needed to prepare a great leader candidate with great character and visionary. The content of leadership education is designed based on knowledge transfer and leadership theory, skill development and the art to lead and leadership character building. Leadership education may able to encourage leader with great character and visionary in order to influence the organization performance to reach the target and objective of the organization.
