Abstract

Presently days, the internet users and internet accessing improves step by step, henceforth another innovation is referred to as Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs). Both static and dynamic channel allocation strategies have weaknesses. In this paper, we design a Joint Channel Assignment and Bandwidth Reservation technique (JCABR) which should reduce the interference in the network, avoid congestion in network and ensure effective bandwidth utilization for all traffic flows. So as to accomplish the above goals, Extensive Survey of channel assignment and bandwidth reservation techniques will be made based on the recognized problems, a Joint Channel Assignment and Bandwidth Reservation technique will be proposed.
