Design of Wearable Antenna in Wireless Body Area Network

Wearable antenna design has becoming the developing research due its application in various field. Nowadays, the research about wearable antenna provoked widespread concern for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN). WBAN technology has high potential for monitoring and sense to detect many diseases and allow the doctor to prevent the diseases throughout early detection. The designed antenna is placed on the material called jean whose dielectric constant is 1.6 and its thickness is 3.6 mm.The length of the substrate is 14 mm and the width of the substrate is 14 mm.The designed antenna having clover slot shape. The co-planar wave guide feed has been used to feed the antenna which produces low spurious radiation and easier to fabricate. Simulation of the designed antenna is carried out with Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Studio Suite 2014 simulation tool. The antenna is operates at ISM band frequency of 2.45 GHz. The return loss of-32.445 and gain of 3.624 dB is obtained .The ISM band frequency of 2.452 GHZ has been achieved for biomedical applications.
