Abstract

This design consist of multi slot cutted microstrip patch antenna with enhanced bandwidth for S-Band applications. The central resonant frequency is found at 2.35 GHz with peak return loss at -23.45 db. This design covers a frequency range between 1.99 GHz to 5 GHz This range covers a huge amount of frequency band. The covered bandwidth range is 86% which can be used in wireless communications, radar communication, satellite communication etc. This antenna is designed on Glass epoxy (FR4) substrate material with microstrip line feed technique. This Antenna is simulated on IE3D software. Better results found during simulation.
