Abstract

India has long been associated with a variety of spiritual traditions. The relation between these traditions and corporate philanthropy and, more formally, corporate social responsibility programmes, has evolved over several decades. This review provides a history of CSR in relation to the gamut of spiritual values in Indic traditions.
