Abstract

Lithium Titanate (Li2TiO3) ceramic has been synthesized by high-energy ball milling (HEBM) and solid state reaction method characterized by XRD, impedance spectroscopy and time domain analysis. The appearance of one semi-circular arc in the Nyquist plot confirms grain conduction effect in complex impedance spectrum. The resistance and capacitance varies predictably with processing method. This suggests, by controlling the processing method the sensing properties can be adjusted to desire values. Time domain response obtained by MATLAB programming of equivalent circuit parameters got from cole-cole plot (Nyquist plot) of respective samples using partial fraction and inverse Laplace transform method The nano crystalline LT shows its potential to act as faster sensitive material, which is revealed from this study.
