Abstract

The main scope of this paper is a propose suitable power synchronization control scheme for high voltage dc links based on voltage source converter (VSC), operating with ac grid. The proposed of power synchronization control (PSC) concept, where grid synchronization achieved without use of dedicated synchronization unit in MATLAB/Simulink. PSC concept used, where detect the power at the sending side and meet the system power demand at receiving side through high voltage. PLL system is also implemented for synchronize converter with grid and current control loop system is perform to minimize the active reactive power demand in grid. We can develop the VSC-HVDC link model in MATLAB/Simulink to observer our system response.
