Abstract

With increasing energy demand worldwide, result in enhancement of fossil fuel consumption. Use of fossil fuel will result in global warming and environmental pollution. Since fossil fuel is available in limited quantity we can’t use them forever. In these conditions, efficient use of renewable source of energy is our focus. Solar energy available in large quantity which can be utilized with the help of solar collector. Solar collector is eco-friendly and uses solar energy as fuel. Many studies find many approaches to find the optimum working condition in order to get maximum output. Nanofluid as working fluid can help to get the maximum output. In the last few decades, many studies have been conducted using nanofluid in solar collector. In this review paper, we will discuss various parameter that affects the optimum working condition. The recent trend of nanofluid in solar collector is given in this work. This paper also discussed percentage in enhancement of heat transfer rate by different solar collector.
