Supplemental Material to the article "Buyer Alliances in Vertically Related Market". I first develop a model of vertical relationships that provides theoretical grounds for the status quo effect and the nondiscrimination effect from buyer alliances. Then, I outline the generating process of Figure 2 which illustrates these effects. Finally, I provide further details about the moments and the procedure used to estimate the demand model.
