Abstract

Should science and philosophy use "feminist methodology?" Haack is asked, and answers: no, for many reasons, most importantly that they are in the inquiry business, not the social justice business. She goes on to explain the many ambiguities of the idea, and the damage it would do to science, to philosophy, AND to women.

Keywords: metaphilosophy, feminism, feminist methodology
