Abstract

English Abstract: This article focuses on the Church's legal authority in general, that is, the pastoral government of the legitimate authorities of the Church. In addition, it considers the concept of Ecclesiastical office, and the positions that can be considered as prototypical of this office, such as the Roman Pontiff, the diocesan bishop, the parish priest, and the abbott-abbess office, among others. Councils are discussed in general terms, as well as the diocesan synod, the provincial synod, and the configuration of the vicars' offices. Other ecclesiastical offices are alluded to only as examples.
