Abstract

Water is progressively becoming an unusual resource, both in relations of amount and quantity or quality. Heavy metals are persistent water contamination. Due to increasing growth of population, rural and urban development and fast industrial development are major sources of contamination of chromium in lake, river, groundwater, various water sources. It is a universally known that the chromium is majorly toxic in the nature and human & animal are exposure of the lead through water are chronic & acute toxicity could be quite harmful for human life. This review study main focuses on water pollution and the adverse effect of chromium toxicity in human being.
