Abstract

This paper proposes a review on MPPT, with the help of advance process control called model predictive control (MPC) for reducing total harmonic current distortion (THID) in grid connected photo voltaic (PV) systems. In small scale network system, delivery of power-flow depends on continuity of power supply and quality of voltage is essential, to enhance the quality and minimize the THD of current waveform. Here, the desired paper shows various algorithms is introduced for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique in association with Model Predictive Controlling (MPC) technique for reducing the THID of the grid connected PV Systems.
