Abstract

The brief was submitted in a Coast Guard General Courtmartial where the accused, Jerry Hardy Jr. was charged with lewd acts with a child. The brief argued for admission of evidence that the accused molested his stepbrother before entering the service, years before the charged conduct. At trial, the evidence was admitted, the accused was convicted, and the conviction was upheld on appeal.
