Abstract

At present, the world has entered the era of industrial revolution 4.0 is synonymous with information technology. Most users of information technology is the millennial generation. A total of 40% of Indonesia's population are of childbearing age Generation Y or so-called millennial generation. This generation is synonymous with high competitive nature, where they will compete with other generations. One of the things that can be done millennial generation to survive in the competition is to improve the ability to solve problems. Each individual has their own way to solve the problem. This research was conducted in Indonesia using the millennial generation. The samples used for this study was 200 respondents. Data collection techniques using literature techniques and questionnaires. The data analysis in this study uses data Structural Equation Modeling or SEM with SmartPLS application version 3.2.8. The data in this study are primary data, the dependent variable is the independent variable and problem solving that self regulation, attitude, creativity and critical thinking skills. The results obtained in this study is the discovery of a positive and significant influence between self regulation, attitude, creativity, critical thinking skills to problem solving in the millennial generation.
