Abstract

The author analyzes some aspects of the legal securing of the right to life. The article deals with the international legal aspects of regulation of the right to life and its securing in domestic criminal procedure legislation. The author formulated amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code aimed at improving the comprehensive consolidation of guarantees of the right to life in criminal proceedings taking into account the General Comments No. 36 of article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights on the right to life, adopted in October 2018, the Committee for Human Rights of the United Nations.
