Abstract

Agriculture is the most essential and the oldest practice of food supply for human survival. With the increases in population, food demands also increases. Therefore, the activities of agriculture have to be increased to meet increasing demand of the food supply. The increase of agricultural activities with improper planning has adverse effect to our ecological diversity. Also with the introduction of new strategies, the environment pollution is become the main problem that human is facing today. This article attempt to highlights the advantages and disadvantages of new innovative agricultural practices and its effects on environment. Through this paper, we attempt to explain how an agricultural system has been modified from the Vedic period to modern technological farming practices with new scientific innovation and invention. Here, we are also mentioned the latest artificial intelligence that could be used in agricultural field to make the agriculture smart and sustain the environment.
