Abstract

India is a developing country, and agronomy is one of the prime occupations in our country. One of the main aspects of human survival is agriculture, which is the primary source of food. Unfortunately, most of the farmers in our country use conventional ways of farming, which is a hectic as well as time-consuming process to analyze data manually related to soil and crops. Because of this, supply and demand are gradually increasing, thus becoming one of the essential factors in our country’s economic growth. Hence some technologies must be adopted which will solve most of these problems and increase the revenues too. In this paper, we have made a solution that will adequately measure all the parameters which will increase the yield of soil, weather conditions, temperature, and humidity. All of this parameter will be real-time monitored over the Internet of Things (IoT) thereby making it be remotely accessed from anywhere with the help of an android application. Thus, a basic implementation of some sensors, along with wireless networking, would come out as a boon to the farmers.
