Abstract

A wireless sensor network (WSN) is buildup of devices which have inbuilt storage, processing and communication capabilities. This research article deals with a heterogenous WSN stability period. The proposed method is extended version of SEP protocol, that work on the concept of clustering. In this method we compare the result basis of various factor like stability period for two level and three level heterogeneity, with existing protocol like Leach, SEP and different variant of SEP. In this paper our focus is on stability period, there is not much significant improvement in throughput.
