Abstract

Highlights:

1. Assessment Auditing and Mapping is an important self-regulatory tool used to deliver effective pedagogy in HE.

2. Higher education teaching, assessment and student feedback need to be aligned in order to deliver successful Academic Programmes and produce graduates equipped to contribute effectively to their respective fields.

3. The Assessment Auditing and Mapping process helps benchmark Subjects and maintain academic standards.

4. A sample Assessment Auditing and Mapping tool is provided along with directions for creating one adapted to other Subjects. Evaluation of current approaches to teaching, assessment and providing student feedback is encouraged.
