Abstract
A new series of thiophene containing benzohydrazide derivatives were synthesized and their structural characterization was done by FT-IR, 1H-NMR and mass spectra. The antimicrobial screening of these synthesized compounds was done by agar well diffusion method. Moreover, the molecular docking study of these synthesized compounds with enoyl ACP reductase (Oxidoreductase) was carried out to determine their binding affinity with the target enzyme.
Keywords: Benzihydrazides, anti-microbial activity, molecular docking.
