Abstract
This paper examined the Egypt’s deeds and the planned extra deeds to destruct on Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) with the impossibilities of the blueprinted extra mantling on the dam. This research was qualitative and relied on secondary sources. The analysis of the research was thematic. The research findings ushered that both Egypt and Ethiopia have obsessive self-interest on Blue Nile. Further, Egypt, which feels displeasure on Ethiopia’s dam construction, has taken different actions to destruct GERD, like, backing anti-Ethiopia Oromo Nationalists.
It also planned other actions of destruction however achieving the plan is hardly seems possible. The researcher recommends riparian countries of the Nile, particularly Ethiopia and Egypt, to have consensus on Blue Nile river rather they heat up destructions each other.
