Abstract

The intent of this Cancer Institute NSW review of cancer patient experience indicators is to support improvements in the quality of cancer patient experiences and the performance of cancer services in relation to meeting cancer patient needs. This review investigates the evidence base regarding the type of indicators that should potentially be collected; how the information should be collected; and what type of involvement of cancer patients and their carers is most useful for the process of developing patient experience indicators.
