Abstract

Wireless rechargeable sensor networks (WRSNs) provide an alternative to overcome energy limitations of sensor nodes. To renew the energy of the sensor nodes one or more mobile charger are deployed in the network. In here, we have offered gravitational search algorithm (GSA) based method to find minimum renovation points for WRSNs. We have formulated a linear programming (LP) for the same. To evaluate the agents, an efficient fitness function is derived by contemplating the three antagonistic objectives, as minimization of number of staying points, maximization of coverage and minimization of distances between stayed points and requested sensor nodes. The simulation results are compared with differential evolution (DE).
