Abstract

Impulse voltages have high voltage and high frequency of short duration. Marx generator is used for the generation of the impulse high voltages. Over these years there have been various modifications in the Marx generator with the aim to make it more compact and efficient. A variety of applications of Impulse generator and their various design aspects for various types of impulse voltages have been discussed in this paper.
