Abstract

HIGHLIGHTS ∙ HX(X=Cl, Br, and I) mediated anion exchange produces compositionally uniform perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs). ∙ The HX mediated exchange reaction does not remain Pb/PbX 2 impurities due to the use of volatile HX as X source. ∙ The PNCs have high color purity with narrow emission spectrum (< 20 nm) at full color spectrum.
