Abstract

The nightmare of COVID-19 outbreak spread all over the world by the announcement of WHO on March 14th, 2020 that COVID-19 is a pandemic. The word PANDEMIC is not just an ephemeral word; it led to massive consequences in the legal field especially with regard to the governmental powers, not only in Egypt but also in other democratic countries. The overarching target of this research is to highlight the measures, espoused by the Egyptian government to confront COVID-19 and the constitutional restrictions over its power.
