Achieving the Blue Economy Dream in the Nigerian Maritime Sector

Abstract

This paper carries out a qualitative and quantitative discourse pertaining to the circumscriptions that hinder the progress of the Nigerian Maritime sector. In response to this, it postulates that better environmental practices should be imbibed, safety of our maritime resources should be prioritized and legislative reforms should be embarked on in a bid to reflect modern day.
