Abstract

Fertilizer production complexes are the combination of multiple plants but only few have been successfully integrated. The possibility to integrate and manage the integration between all plants requires a deep knowledge insight on all specific technologies and the capability to tailor the complex design to achieve the best performances at the lowest production cost: CASALE is the only company worldwide that can offer its complete technology portfolio to encompass the complete fertilizer production chain from raw materials up to final products.

The most widely used feedstock for nitrogenous fertilizers production is ammonia, which is Casale core license since its foundation. Casale developed several process schemes to cope in an optimized way with different production capacities, from small to extra-large plants. This paper provides some insight on the schemes available in Casale portfolio.
