Abstract
Time as a physical unit does not exist. Time is just a measure of changes, just as temperature is a measure of heat. So if we say that some time has passed, then we mean that there have been some changes. Therefore, if there are no changes in a given system, it means that time in this system does not flow. So it can happen that our system has different changes, while in another system there are no changes. This means that in this second system - from our point of view - time has stopped. This is the easiest way to explain special relativity.
