Abstract

Abstract: the article examines the nature of such an offence as phishing. The article considers the history of phishing and possible variants of its manifestation. In the article author analyzes one of the most developed legislation on phishing in the world – the US legislation. The authors come to the conclusion that only the global organization of the fight against phishing will allow to defeat this illegal phenomenon.
