The Role of COVID-19 Spread in Increasing the Use of Electronic Applications

Abstract

This paper attempts to investigate the role of Covid-19 spread in increasing the use of electronic applications, this was applied during the period from March 15, 2020 to May 31, 2020.
A questionnaire-based survey was performed to collect data from (384) student (120 males and 234 females) from Egyptian universities student, from different grade levels and from different disciplines. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that The spread of the Corona virus led to increasing the use of electronic applications between University students, and there were no statistically significant differences between males and females responses to questionnaire phrases except in two phrases only.
