Abstract

ALLMINERAL introduces the enhanced allflot® technology with several benefits for the flotation of rock phosphate ore. Pneumatic flotation technologies are well known since the late 1980th and have been implemented in various processing plants. Flotation in upstream, in downstream and even in tangential feed stream are applied from different manufacturers.

Conventional mechanical agitator flotation (Denver type) is well known and established in many phosphate processing plants worldwide. Only a combination of different flotation technologies will enable highest efficiency. The unique allflot® machine increases mineral recovery by use of a scavenger cell and improves mineral grade by use of a cleaner cell.

The presentation will inform also about economic and ecologic aspects when state of the art technology is correctly chosen.

Keywords: phosphate processing; flotation technology; allflot® machine
