Fit for the Future: Education towards Peace, Cultural Diversity and Sustainability

Abstract

Although the future may be unbeknown to man, it is highly relevant as the horizon of education. Children and youths are to develop with a view to being fit for the future. Even if all the aspects that will contribute to education in the future cannot be specified, there is no doubt that peace, cultural diversity and sustainability are essential conditions. All three of these areas are intertwined.
