Abstract
Cybersecurity and public safety possess different issues and challenges altogether. Yet the COVID-19 pandemic is having really very important relevance for cybersecurity as it has created sobering reminders of long-standing problems, unresolved disputes, and unheeded alerts that tend to define cybersecurity. COVID-19 has caused us, through drastic steps such as social distancing, undermining economic development and daily existence, to become more reliant on the Internet. Dependency creates vulnerability in cyberspace, and malicious attempts have proliferated to exploit this sudden, unplanned shift in society online. This paper deals with various cybersecurity incidents and its implications in coronavirus age.
