Abstract
This document provides information on the data used for the corresponding article by Hetherington and Mehlhaff in The Monkey Cage blog, published by The Washington Post. Section 1 gives an overview of the sampling technique used to generate the panel data. Section 2 details key descriptive statistics for the cross-sectional samples as well as the panel sample. Section 3 provides wordings of relevant survey items.
